Slow performance can be caused by unnecessary start up items in msconfig.

I don't know if this program will work in Win 10, but give it a go and see if lists programs that don't need to be running in the background and unnecessarily using up memory.

Generally you don't need any as they will usually work when called upon.

I don't know the innards of Edge, but see if running IE without add-ons improves its performance.

Performance is now fast thanks I would not use Malwarebytes as last time I did it had been hacked

That isn't the antimalware scanner but another of their programs that checks your start up programs to see if you need them to be running, but if your computer's performance is back to the way it was, then you can leave it.
