Can I boot from a USB and fix a non bootable install

I was talking about Tweaking's repair program, but I've never used the portable version to see how that works - but I would think you would still need to be booted into the volume you want to repair when you load the program.

I've already emailed jpm who is an Admin about this and awaiting a reply - locale time difference.

Not likely to get a reply from Shane anytime soon as he is deep in finalising WR v4.0 and has his blinkers on :)

Naw - The program won't work like that.  If you boot from portable or any other way, it will work on C:.  You'll have to be able to get it to boot.
