crayfishkc:
WIN 7 SP1 64BIT HOME PREM USING CHROME 60.0.312.113 BROWSER. RAN TWEAKING NORM AND PRO WITH NO HELP. NO SCREEN SHOTS. WILL STOP ACCEPTING ANY MOUSE INPUTS AFTER WORKING FINE FOR A FEW INPUTS. ACTIONS OF THE MOUSE ARE SEEN WITH NO FOLLOW THROUGH. NORMAL BOOT
I have upgrade disk to reinstall win 7.
Boggin:
Are you using a laptop or desktop machine and what sort of a mouse are you using ?
crayfishkc:
Desktop ,Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 , 3-core Athlon+. Mouse is a Microsoft basic optical. Same combo worked for a couple of years. Trouble started about the same time as I started using windscribe VPN, but uninstall and removal of the VPN caused no change.
Boggin:
Does it have an eye that can accumulate fluff or have you checked to see if there is a driver update ?
When you go into Device Manager and right click on the mouse to check if there is a driver update, under Properties click on Power Management and uncheck the box to Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power and see if that produces an improvement.
crayfishkc:
I found device manager and found the driver was up to date, I found properties, but did not find power management .I did try to install the driver for the mouse, but that didn't help.
