08 - Repair MDAC/MS Jet fails

<< < (5/9) > >>

Boggin:
Are you using an OEM or purpose built machine ?

It may be possible to perform a repair install but you will need to have a valid product key such as the one on the COA sticker if it's still legible.

If using an OEM machine and you have the COA sticker key, you can change the product key to that by going Start - type Slui 3 and press enter then enter that key.

If you don't have a Win 7 install disk that includes SP1 then you can download the ISO and use Windows USB/DVD Burner Tool.

I think these ISOs include SP1 - hover over Win 7 ISO then Download and select your version and select Save.

http://wudt.codeplex.com/ - this is for the burner tool.

i need to found time for this, but my question is why this tool cannot repair my problem ? is not designed for this ?

Boggin:
I'll ask why it hasn't repaired MDAC but need more info to pass on.

Do you have anything in Event Viewer recorded for this or the error message you can post ?

Have you tried 3.9.4 ?

albesp77:
nothing in event logger, i'll try v3.9.4 in next days!

Boggin:
What are you doing when you get the error 91 ?
