Cannot authenticate registration key on LAN

(1/1)

dark00monkey:
there is something preventing me from validating my registration while connected to my work LAN or WLAN, but once I connect to my iPhone hotspot it goes through fine.

Is there a firewall exception or something I need to apply to get around this annoyance?

Boggin:
Are you talking about registering the Pro version of Windows Repair ?

It is machine specific and one key - one machine.

What did you originally register it on ?

dark00monkey:
I have the pro Tech license, and when I start the application while connected to my work LAN I get this message (https://imgur.com/a/swtfu) When I connected to my iPhone Hotspot or take a machine home, I get this message (https://imgur.com/a/19XUg)

this applies to any machine I try it on. I assume its just that I need to allow the app through the firewall, I just need to know what to enter in for the exception.

Boggin:
I wouldn't have thought that a different Internet connection would make any difference as long as you are using the machine(s) the Pro licence is registered on - but I've asked for clarification on this with my Support.

I only have my home connection so I'm unable to check this out.

Have you declined the updates for the program as I see you are still using 4.0.12 when 4.0.14 is the latest version.

99% certain you need to speak to whoever is in charge of your firewall at work and have then allow Tweaking.com as a site.
