Cd Rom Drive

   On my laptop (vista), when I log out then log back in my cd rom drive disappears. Any ideas? I hardly use it, but it just bugs me now.

Hard to tell. Haven't seen that before.

Either something wrong with the system or profile or something wrong with the drive itself.

If you make a new profile, just to test with, does it do it on that profile as well?

It was a program I had running causing it...fixed now.
