Boggin:
That was going to be my next to take in to a reputable repair shop.

I think you have a hardware problem on there which could be your motherboard.

kdent:
I. Can’t believe this got my machine back 1st thing I did was go to device manager and there it was big old yellow flag on my serial ATA Contoller. So went to the store and they told me I did need that working to fly FSX??Got home but it first 2 disk went great number3 not so well got error on .It reboot got the blue screen.Got re install again.Any idea where I can get that driver, the program that you suggested I think has a lot of malware because my malbwarebyes, and I have used them before an had a lot of problems. Thanks for any hep.....Scott

Boggin:
Just how much did that repair shop check as I don't think that would be why you kept getting sfc /scannow finding corruption after a clean install.

Did you tell them that ?

Is it the SATA Controller driver you need ?

I would contact your computer support for that driver.

Alternatively you could try https://www.driverscape.com/ and while I've never used this site, I did put my make & model of laptop in and while it listed the wrong graphics driver, it did list a SATA Controller driver, but I'd create a system image and the means to recover from it before installing it.
