how can i delete a file association(.lnk files are running Media Center) !

Hello,  my english is poor !
Using: windows 7/64
The bug is: in file type association, the '' .lnk '' files are  assiociate to Media Center.exe
result: all ''start menu'' items and desk icon are running ''media Center.exe !!
how can i delete this?

In the section ''default programs/define assoc.'' i have 'Media Center' anstead of ''unnow''
In this section it is not posssible to erase but only change ?!?!?
This is only for current user, if i log with other account all is ok

It should say unknown in that section, so that is good.

If it is still happening only under your profile then we need to see if you have some reg keys still in there.

Open the registry and export out this key and post it
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\.LNK
