Help please. Can't do repairs

Have run Windows repair after updating to v.4.5.5 and repairs wont initialise in safe mode (Windows 7 64 bit). Says something is keeping it from running, but I have no idea what. Everything up to the repair worked well. Need to run repair because Adobe have messed things up trying to get their program from working. Many thanks for any help.

Do you have any restore points you can try prior to Adobe messing things up ?
