Re: This antivirus did not work for me!

CryptoPrevent has changed quite a bit and is now in version 9. The free version is no longer updated and the paid version now includes some Maintenance/Repair options as well. Luckily, like Malwarebytes, they're still honouring their lifetime licences.

And to get back to topic, this is the list of products incompatible with Kaspersky Total Security - includes Malwarebytes, among others!

There are very few antivirus programs that will sit well alongside another so that list isn't surprising.

Besides, you shouldn't run two AV programs as they can cause anomalous problems.

Still_Game:
I absolutely agree that you should normally avoid running two antivirus together but I've always viewed Malwarebytes and CryptoPrevent (which isn't on Kaspersky's list yet, glad to see) as different from normal AVs. They both play very nicely with MSE in W7and, I understand, with Defender in W10. When I am dragged kicking and screaming to Windows 10, it'll be Defender, Malwarebytes and CryptoPrevent for me. And a very wary eye on what I download or open in the way of attachments, as always........

Some time ago Norton 360 developed a conflict with the free version MBAM because of its Definitions but that was eventually sorted by Norton.
