Did Tweaking Caused These Problems After Cloning HDD To SSD ??
findcount:
hi,
couple years back, i used Tweaking to ''fix'' my Win7 after YouTube videos keep stuttering..............problem solved but my anti-malware (Malwarebytes) then no longer work (doesn't matter)............recently, i cloned my HDD to SSD and following problems came about..............
1) the PC would freeze if my mouse is connected to the USB port at rear of PC......only working when connected to the front's USB port
2) my Realtek audio software disappeared but i got it back........but the Equalizer Settings would not save my settings
3) all the saved Log-in passwords needed to be keyed in again at websites (email, facebook, etc)
lastly, did Tweaking Win7 disabled the TRIM command for Win7 (IDE mode) ?
Boggin:
TRIM is neither AHCI or IDE specific - it's an ATA protocol and should auto kick in when it detects a SSD is fitted.
This article will save me some typing to explain how to check if TRIM is enabled.

Was everything working otherwise as it should before changing over to the SSD ?

many thanks for the response............
yes, everything was fine except the Malwarebytes wasn't working even with old HDD (it's ok though, not important)
the TRIM is enabled (i've checked) but seems to be ignored by the SSD (i used HD Sentinel which said it was disabled)
i'm most bothered by the Realtek issue with the equalizer settings not saved whenever i turn off my pc........... :undecided:

This article may help explain the operation of TRIM which may/not be specific to Win 10 - https://www.tenforums.com/performance-maintenance/77467-calling-ssd-users-what-does-your-optimise-window-show.html
As for the Realtek, it may be worth reinstalling the Realtek Audio driver to see if that makes any difference.
