Increase saturation color on Toshiba Laptop

<< < (8/8)

JohnCoool:
That did not work. So I downloaded the driver from Toshiba for Win7 and it accepted and after the reboot it has the utility back. But with the same features.

Still nothing for saturation.

JohnCoool:
I noticed that the start up programs start much faster on Windows 10, just like on Windows 7. But Windows 8.1 has a gap before they start to launch.

Changes that happened after the upgrade.

The Toshiba camera and program worked normally but some programs did not detect the camera so I updated the driver and now other programs detect it but the Toshiba software does not. This is not important because I use other software anyway.

I use external speaker because it has weak speakers. The realtek software detect what is connected to the Jack. Now it works on the Mic Jack but not on the headphone Jack. I tried to select the speaker on it from the detection but still did not work. But this is not a big deal because it works on the Mic Jack. I updated the driver but there was no change in the results.

This article describes how to check for or to install the Intel Graphics Control Panel which may have the Saturation setting.

JohnCoool:
I found two tools from that link and installed both but they do have saturation and do not control the colors. They are made for driver version 25 and above. Mine is 8.

I do not think it will work on this device.

I solved the issue but reducing the Gamma settings in the default utility from 1.0 to 0.9. The colors are sharper and more vivid.

Thanks for the tip on the Windows 10 free upgrade.

Boggin:
Sorry that didn't work out for the graphics control.

Getting Win 10 for free was hopefully a means to an end but at least you now have an upgraded system which I was happy to help with.
