"failed with: The handle is invalid." Errors. How to fix?

I have been attempting to restore default permissions, yet every time I get the error "failed with: The handle is invalid." for the same 4 things.  Any idea why or how to fix this sort of thing?  I have included the error log.  Thanks.

Do you mean the entry is invalid ?

That denotes there is a Windows Update available.

Check for updates and when it has installed, try Windows Repair again.

I hope this is a genuine query as I've identified you as a Spammer.

I am on vpn, which could explain why this IP could be identified as "spammer"?  This is a genuine query.  When I do reset default perms, I get these errors.  I do not know if they are invalid entries or what.

ERROR: Writing SD to <machine\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Perflib\CurrentLanguage> failed with: The handle is invalid.
ERROR: Writing SD to <machine\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Perflib\009> failed with: The handle is invalid.

I will run windows update though and attempt the repairs again.  Thanks.

Have you had a recent Windows Update that may not have installed correctly ?

Can you go into Device Manager to check for yellow alerts against any of the devices ?

Can you open a Powershell (Admin) and enter these cmds -

dism /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup

dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

sfc /scannow

exit (to close command window)

Let me know if the sfc /scannow finds any files to repair.

Try Windows Repair again.

BTW - The spam report was dated for today at 18.39.
