Toshiba Satellite A205 Vista keeps freezing

Good morning,

                     I really need some help for my Toshiba Satellite laptop. It keeps freezing unexpectedly. Sometimes, it freezes during the startup process, sometimes while working on something, nothing definite. I have to force shutdown my system and restart again. Otherwise, the system works pretty good. No other major problems. I have checked for malware issues. I'm sure there isn't any. I have even run the Combofix program to make sure. Also, when I run the sfc scan, it says some corrupt files were detected but wasn't able to fix it. I have also disabled most of the Non-Microsoft devices on startup. Could you add some feature that might attempt to repair this in your Windows Repair software?

It is possible it is a hardware or driver problem.

Have you done a memory test yet and also ran a chkdsk on the drive to check for bad sectors?
