ricardsjets:
I removed Win 7 Ant-Virus 2012 from my computer. After removal when I try to use programs or icons i get an error message that the path is not found. Also no pdf's will open I recieve a message that says an internal error occurred. I ran your windows repair tool to no avail. Please help.

Sounds to me like your file extensions have been compromised, which is very common after a virus removal. Go to the following link and download the exe file extension fix, save it to your desktop, run it and reboot. You might also want to download the pdf file extension fix as well. You will probably have to re-install Adobe Reader too. Also, the lnk one will restore your shortcuts to working, if they don't work too. All this is assuming you are running Windows 7 as you didn't say.

Also there is a way to repair the exe with windows repair (Actually in the program folder)
In the Windows repair folder you will see a "files" folder, open it.
In there you will see "fix_exe_hijack.inf"
Right click on it and hit install. This will also repair the exe reg keys. I did the inf trick because when a system is infected you cant run reg files since regedit.exe gets blocked. Thanks to this inf trick that is no longer a problem :-)

Cool! Didn't know that was in there. Can it be run from the WR program itself?
Shane:
Yeah it is a file I use myself, I run it before I do anything else. This way I can get the scanners to open lol.
I should add the exe reg keys to the repair policies set by infections repair.
The exe reg keys are the same on every version of windows and are almost NEVER changed by any programs except for viruses. So I think it would be safe to add
