Title: no errors deducted.(w)Unable to read Event Log0x0000001F System
Post by: jraju on November 20, 2015, 07:27:02 am
Hi,
                Enclosing here with checksur.log
I ran sfc /scannow and then readiness tool as updated today in msft site.
Why i get this error, even when no errors deducted while installing readiness tool.
I presume that there is no update error in installing windows updates.

At a guess - as no errors were found then an event log wouldn't have been created ?

Have you checked Event Viewer for any date and time related errors for when you ran the update readiness tool.

If it's more convenient, run the tool again and then check Event Viewer.

HI,
I have run the prescan and it did not find any errors in package and other 2 scans. I will try to run the readiness tool. This is the latest i downloaded from the site.
I checked the event viewer, not when running the readiness tool. But it is taking some time to load the logs. I could find red and yellow marks in application log. But there is no log regarding window updates.
I will still try to run the tool again and report to you

Unless you are actually having problems with WUs then I wouldn't worry about it.
