Title: 80073712 error
Post by: Simon83 on June 29, 2013, 06:27:33 am
Hi everyone,
I've run the tools on here to try to erradicate this error when using windows update but to no avail. I've read that it's a case of doing a repair of windows which I didn't really want to resort to - just wondered if anyone had ever had this error and managed to fix it without an upgrade / repair?
Many thanks,
Simon

Some suggestions:
- check disk for bad sectors
- try if doing a System Restore will fix the problem, because it re-installs a number of system files as well.

What repair options did you run in my tool? And did you also try this?
