after running windows repair on a windows xp computer, i receive this message when trying to connect to the shared computer (windows 7) on work network.
"server-pc is not accessible. you might not have permission to use this network resource. contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.
the network path was not found."
please help!

hmmm okay so is this when the computer is at work? or are you running this via a vpn?

both computers are desktops at work office. only my computer is having this issue and it started right after i ran the windows repair.

hmmm you could go to the tab 5 : Backup and choose the restore option. WR is 95% registry related so it could put those settings back to before the repairs.

Have you tried to access the other computer by its local Ip address instead of its computer name? Do you get the same error?
