Hi, Rick,
You need not give any details or log in to download updates. You just uninstall the adobe flash player and then reinstall the latest from the links i provide
http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html
there is an uninstaller. Pl uninstall using this
and then install from adobe.com.
During installation, check the updates option suitably

I often asks myself why these things happen; as a simple user; I have no interest to learn new uninstall and install methods...
Adobe, fix your system ...

I just manually download the whole setups for them :-)
active x link (IE)

plugin link (Firefox, Chrome and such)

The issue is; auto updating; making links to update is not the answer to solving a billion problems at one time... I had to create an Adobe account, once that was done, the auto update feature worked...
Adobe, please fix your auto update feature already installed in billions of systems worldwide!!!!!
* we should not have to create an account in order to get free updates.....

Thats odds, I have adobe flash and reader on hundreds of machines around town here and they all update fine, never had to create an account at all to get them to update.

I do not think adobe needs for your registration details and log in creating account etc. I think you are downloading from some other website
