To the best of my understanding there are many different things that can contribute to this error and the fix or workaround may depend on the information below:
Need more info please:
What brand/type of computer are you using?
Desktop/Laptop?
Which OS/Ver Vista Ult/ Windows 7 Home Pre etc?
What motherboard brand is installed?
What is the current bios version?
What proccessor does your PC have?
Is the PC crashing (BSOD)?
Does Sleep and/or Hibernation work?
What have you tried doing if anything?
Please post any dumps in C:\Windows\Minidump and/or MEMORY.DMP in C:\Windows (compressed to a zip file)
Some things to try:
Updating your bios firmware.
Disable sleep/hibernation.
Go to Control Panel > Power Options > Under your power plans choose "Change plan settings" > change advanced power settings > expand Processor Power Management > set both min and max to 100% and if it exists set System Cooling Policy to passive.
Go into your bios settings and enable Intel Speedstep (EIST). (check for bios update first)
