In case I'm unable to boot to Windows (XP SP3), would it be possible to make a boot-able USB stick that contains Linux or DOS OS and have it auto run a portable version of Registry Backup. I'm guessing NOT. I think I'd need WinPE boot disk. Is that correct? Is there some other way to get Registry Backup to run from a boot-able USB stick?
