I've checked my files and I don't have 10_1909 - mine only goes up to 10_1903 but my Pro 4.6.1 opens fine.
Can you boot up into Safe Mode and Networking and uninstall that version of WR and then reinstall while in Safe Mode, should something on your computer be corrupting the download/install.
While you are in that mode, run the program to see if you still get that error.

Hi Tom,
Yet when I check my files as well, my files don't have 10_1909 - mine only goes up to 10_1903 but my Pro 4.6.1
Very strange!!

Tom:
I am getting the same error as the OP. I upgraded to Build 1909 two days ago. I can proceed into WRAIO Pro by dismissing the error box and it appears to work. Shane has obviously anticipated some registry format changes in Build 1909 and does not want people with Build 1909 running registry repairs so he is giving Build 1909 customers fair warning. I expect that he will have a new release out to address that issue.
Have a great day.

Hi Phil,
Thanks for your prompt feedback on this matter.
Much appreciated!

Thanks, Phil.
I'm not sure how anyone is getting 1909 or for those who haven't, why is the program for some, looking for 1909.
My Pro hasn't prompted for any update other what I've already got.

I'm not sure how anyone is getting 1909
It's coming gradually to all users. If automatic or manual 'check for updates' does not fetch it, Microsoft already provides it with the Media Creation Tool (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10). It's the 1909 version.

We could be talking at cross purposes with this.
This thread is querying a file within the repair program and not the latest Win 10 feature update to 1909.

Can U let me know what happenning. Will be waiting. Thank You

You and me both :)
It'll probably be with a new version of WR to accommodate the Win 10 feature update to 1909.

Hi Phil, Tom
Just an update!
Looks like Windows 10 Update KB4517245 (Windows 10 Version 1909 via Enablement Package) is causing this issue on both the Free & Pro Version of the app.
Tested free Version 4.6.1 on another PC prior to update & worked perfectly.
Both my PC with Pro Version & other PC with Free Version now have Windows update installed and both machines throw out the sae error

I got my Win 10 feature update late last night after the monthly 1903 updates.
I've just tried my Pro WR and I also get the error message but clicking on OK allowed me to progress to the repairs where it auto created the registry back up.
I haven't ran the repairs.
On checking the program's files, I find I do now have 10_1909 now listed.
I believe the error could be because the actual program hasn't been updated to accommodate Win 10 1909 yet, although I don't know how Windows update managed to add that file to WR.

Hi Tom,
Thanks for your feedback
I can also click past error prompt but have not tried to run any repairs as yet either.

As it has been found that running a new version of Win 10 on an old version of WR has caused Permissions problems, I would advise against using the repair program until it has been updated.
I don't think the changes will be great as it didn't take long for 1909 to download and install - previous feature updates have taken hours, but I'd still wait until Shane has updated the program.

Hi Phil, Tom
I see that error has now been resolved with Version 4.7.0
Thank you

Yes, I also found that.
