Tweaking.com Support & Help / Major issue with 291 version

Hi,
I have noticed something very wrong with 2.9.1 on a 7 pro system : whenever I user Registry Backup, with VSS, it sorts of hide C: from the system, and you can imagine what is does.  I was able to shutdown the system. After reboot everything seemed back to normal, and it started again after I performed a new registry backup.  Maybe a VSS mess-up.  I hope I can recover my system after this second crash...

PS : sorry for posting here instead where I should have, I was quite upset, this PC is very important to me...

Tweaking.com Support & Help / SOLVED : issue when creating System Restore Points from TRW

Hi, I am using version 2.8.4 and running Windows 8.1 on a Lenovo G505.

Since recently, creating System Restore Point from within Tweaking.com Windows Repair is not working most of the time.  When I click on Create, I get instantly a message saying a point has been created.  It usually takes 30s or so.  When I check after while, I see no created system restore point.  Only when using the Windows GUI I can create new points, and this time it does take some time.

This is annoying to have a false positive message saying a point has been created.
