What is the make of your computer and have you checked your computer support site for that driver ?

That could be your chipset or video drivers you may need to download.
Have a look in Device Manager/View/Show hidden devices and look for any yellow alerts with it connected.
-
I do not have any "Warnings"
All drivers Update (Latest)
The camera NIKON L20 works when connected!
But I only say that I have only USB connected (camera disconnected)
Maybe can ignore this message???
-
Could it be a problem with the cable ?
Going back to your edited Reply #2 - I would contact Nikon to see if they have any drivers for your model as it may have been discontinued.
-
Probably not detect a device that is simply disconnected,
USB cable I plugged all the time even if the camera is not connected
Note:
Nikon Transfer 2014 Software Discontinued
-
They must have a Contact us link on their website so I'd still contact them as they may be able to supply you with a legacy driver.
What does Device Manager display ?
-
The camera does not require drivers
after connecting everything works.
-
So do you get an error code with the error message ?
-
Event Viewer:
Condition: Critical
DriverFrameworks-UserMode
Description: There was an error in the at least one of the user-mode drivers. Service process has been completed. This may cause temporary interruption of access to the device.
Windows\system32\drivers\WudfPf.sys (win8_rtm....)
I'm using OS Windows 7 !!!
Maybe Windows Updates - something change in the system?
-
If you are still getting the error, first unplug the USB cable to see if it continues, but you can also run Driver Verifier.
