Did you get an error in the run of cmds for the SoftwareDistribution folder ? : Yes, I was told that there was no permission to acces that folder

Got a new AMD driver, but it did´nt help.

When looking for update, I am now told that the system is fully updated, though I am still running 1607.

When I originally tried to update to 1607, I had the same problem. I then had to make a clean install to get it. So I lost my folders and apps.

I appreciate all the time and effort you have put into this project

Yes, I did all the commands, I had to rename SoftwareDistribution to SoftwareDistibution.old manually

Defender was turned off

I have produced USB 1607 install media. But I can´nt boot because of "current safety police"

I did everything you said, but installation failed.

All drivers are updated. Uses only Malawarebytes free, which does´nt interfer.

What now?

Running w 10, home, 1607

Have tried your "Windows repair" - but with no succes.

Any good ideas?
