General Computer Support / Newbie: run-time error

I installed your Windows Repair v3.7.0 (Free Version) that was highly recommended by a member in another forum to try to repair an sfc /scannow issue, and it looks like a program that I'll find very useful.
However, when I downloaded, installed, and opened the program I got to Step 2: Optional > clicked on "Open Repair Reparse Points" icon > "Tweaking Form Controls" box > Run-time error '0' appears, and the program closes. Would you help me in getting it to work because I know I have Windows issues on this laptop I'm working on.
