Title: can't type into windows 10 Search Box and need password instead of PIN to login

Hey everyone,

I believe this is my first post here or at least my first in a long time. Fresh install of Windows 10 Pro without the October 2018 update... I ran the tweaking.com utility, as suggested, rebooted in safe mode, went straight to repair and did a "network repair" rebooted as prompted, after I rebooted, I was now asked to enter my password instead of my PIN to log in to Windows 10 Pro and once in, I can no longer enter anything into the search box on the task bar.. any suggestions? I even went back into tweaking.com repair tool in safe mode, restored my registry to before I applied the Network fix ans still the same issue. Any suggestions?

I'd try another fresh install.

Why did you need to run the repair program after a fresh install ?

maybe as a test of the repair program to see if it came up with nothing to repair?
