Whenever I try to open task scheduler I get the error message "Task DispatchRecoveryTasks: The task image is corrupt or has been tampered with." (Picture below) and when I click OK it says "Task launchtrayprocess: The task image is corrupt or has been tampered with." (picture also below) and after I click OK no tasks at all are listed anywhere. How do I fix this?

The thing glitched, here's the second picture.

Google the app "Fix My Task Scheduler". It is a free download from Josh Cell Softwares and it might fix your problem. If not, I really hope to see any tricks Shane might have on this one.

Ok, thanks I'll try it out.
-
Well it said it fixed errors, but still the same error message after reboot.
-
Did it say it fixed (example) 13 errors, or did it say "0 errors fixed with this application"
-
I think it said 13 errors fixed

Well I completely deleted the dispatch recovery thing, I looked it up and it's for excel, which I don't use. But launchtrayprocess is for get windows 10, and I am considering getting it. No wonder I haven't gotten the notification, the task is corrupted. Any ideas how I can replace the file?

:) I fixed it! I made a new task that did what launchtrayprocess did, which was run GWX.exe at Startup, than I deleted the corrupt one. Now the icon appears, and I fixed Task scheduler! WOOT
