hi .
try firefox ! :artist:

Chrome is normally faster, I myself use firefox.
Which ever you use make sure to turn down how much cache it keeps. I hate those. They will keep 1 gb normally. And 1 gb of tiny files becomes a few hundred thousand files. I also keep the cache low like 8 mb. Then it is far less hard drive access to try and load the cache.

The laptop is XP Home Edition (low resources) Dial up.
Chrome better for this setup, i don't want to download Firefox if there is no improvement.

How do i turn down this?

How do i adjust to 8mb,( is this the same as above) or a separate adjustment?
Thanks again

I dont know how they are with dial up. And with dial up you will want to use the cache more so it doesnt have to download the files again.
Try firefox, if it doesnt feel good then stick with IE. (Never thought I would say that lol)

Should i still reduce the cache by something?
If so how do i do this?
Thanks again

No, leave it be as with dial up you will need the caching more than ever

Is that why it is faster when i load the same web page for the second or third time?

Yes. Thats what cache is. It will load from cache instead of downloading from the site. On my high speed I turn cache down to low since I have the speed. But on dial up cache is a life saver :-)
