Is it asking you to put in the professional cd when you have the home version?

To my knowledge, you have to insert the cd in xp, if you opt sfc. The sfc command should be sfc /scannow from the administrator command prompt.
             In later versions, of vista and win 7 , the files will be , missing files or corrupted files, copied from the installation directory.
