Hello!
I'm in identical situation that "ove1" in this (http://www.tweaking.com/forums/index.php?topic=1207.0) post.
Just would like to know, humbly, if there has been any progress about this.
Thank you for this great software!

I fixed that a while ago, can you post the backup log so I can see where it is having trouble?

Of course!
I attached them.

Ah I see why it is failing. The program only called the VSS for the C: drive, but you have your profiles set to be on the D: drive and so it isnt making a shadow copy and isnt able to copy the files. Instead go to the settings and then advanced settings and put a check at the top to have the program always use the fall back method and see how that does for you

In fact, using fall back method all registry files are copied, but those who are in D: the backup is not full.
Is there any way (easy) to get VSS work for the D: drive?
Thank you very much!

What do you mean they are not backed up in full?

In this screenshot the size difference is seen between the backup and the original.
I guess with the fall back method, are not copied the entries in use.

No, it does copy all the registry. The registry is a database and becomes bloated and has wasted space, the new files are smaller because the registry is being written to new files (Not just copied) and so the wasted space is gone.
You can read more about it on my registry compressor page
