I am having some issues with SFC. I ran it and it said it found corruptions it couldn't repair. I then ran SFCfix, it said it found 8 corruptions, and fixed 4. I unfortunately ran SFCfix again, and it wrote over the log with details of the errors, the new log does not have the info of the errors themselves. What should I do? Windows 7 64-bit home premium.

It would be useful to know what sfc /scannow is reporting that it can't fix.
Run the sfc /scannow again and if it still reports that it can't repair some files, enter findstr /c:"[SR]" %windir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log >"%userprofile%\Desktop\sfcdetails.txt and that will put an icon onto the Desktop which when double clicked will open the CBS Log in Notepad which you can then copy & paste into the reply box.

hmmm I agree with Boggin. ;) and plus I'm curious as to what is corrupt this time. Yet again I've seen corruption happen with sfc a lot lately lol

Ok, I'll do it very soon. Also, I've heard that a Windows Update makes some files be falsely flagged as corrupted. Still, as far as I can tell it only "corrupts" two files and I have four corrupted.

				OK the log is attached.

It doesn't exactly say that it cannot repair anything - just that it is unable to verify those items and that the manifest isn't corrupt.
Don't know.

				Hmm That's strange.

Um I ran SFCFix and it said no problems found 0_o now running regular SFC.

			-
Oh, also no problems found in pre-scan

a hiccup lol in sfc suppose?

Nooe I ran  SFC again and it said errors detected. I checked with SFCFix and it said there were two it couldn't repair (down half!). Running SFC again I ran something that may unflag those update files as corrupt. I hope it's those things, so this will finally be done.

XDXDXDXDXD Oh I redid the SFC and the SFCfix and now it found 4 errors AARGH. Also, should I delete the CBS log? I want to be sure there is no problem that is caused by something somehow. I know after you delete it, it is remade when you do SFC again. At least that's what I heard.
