Title: can't install checksur, ran sfcfix and have its log

Hi

Here is my sfcfix log.

Need to manually repair some system files

I can't view that page as I'm not a member of that forum.

You can copy & paste the SFCFix.exe report from the Notepad doc that it creates and would have put onto your Desktop.

So have you run the System Update Readiness Tool as it recommends - and then run another sfc /scannow to see if it still reports corruption.

Checksur would fail the install.

Have you run the update trouble shooter http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows/troubleshoot-problems-installing-updates#1TC=windows-7

Can you also run this MS Fixit to reset the update components and then try the SURT again to see if it will install.

Run this MS Fixit but if it continues to fail to install, can you provide more details how it fails to install, including any error messages or any same time stamped Errors in Event Viewer for when it failed - and which AV program are you using ?
