Title: A way to preserve my default programs
Post by: danw700 on February 13, 2018, 09:09:35 pm
Hi there – I have enjoyed using this program since I purchased it and it has restored my Windows 10 system on a number of occasions. I think it is very useful and helpful.

Is there a way to have a script or a bat file of some sort that will reset all my default programs after I run a full repair of my Windows 10 system?

This feature would be very useful to me and save me a heap of time.

Cheers for now
Dan

I've noticed when I run the program and uncheck anything to do with app repairs/resets, after the reboot I can get about 20 notifications that there has been a problem with such and such an app and it has been reverted to whatever, so what you ask may not be possible as it could conflict with whatever the program is doing - but I'll ask.

I was thinking more of a script to run after the repair or something like that

I don't think that would be on as different people may use different defaults and I would think making a "one size fits all" wouldn't be possible.

However, I've sent an email to my Support with a link to your thread, so will have to wait for a reply.
