I've been a WindowsRepair user for many years and the latest v4.12.2 failed to upgrade to pro !
I tried the a complete uninstall (with Revo v4.53) reinstall with no success and check that I'm not using a proxy!
I have two PC's (Desktop and Laptop) and both were running the previous version of WindowsRepair as Pro, but after the upgrade the both are running as "Free Version) with the dreaded "Huston - we have a problem" Pop-up.
Both PC's are running current Win10 (21H2) versions.
Suggestions ?

Hi Hank - I email Shane with a link to your thread.
-
Can you boot into Safe Mode with Networking to see if it changes to Pro as something could be blocking it from the Internet.
-
Doesn't work in Safe Mode either - same results. Same results in Firefox and Chrome.
However, my internet provider is Verizon, and they (with McAfee) label your website as malicious and I have to manually over-ride the exception.
See attached screenshot.
-
I'm in email conversation with Shane who has given me access to a tool where I will be able to enable or block licences, but there seems to be a problem with the password which I'm waiting for Shane to get back to me on.
-
Do Verizon on their own label the website as malicious.
You can check this by turning off McAfee.
Neither Kaspersky or TotalAv have problems with this website.
-
Nothing to turn off since I do not use McAfee -just Microsoft Defender.
Verizon labels the site as malicious. See bottom of screen capture.

I noted that McAfee has no problems with Tweaking.com, only Tweaking.com/forums page.
The reason it gives involves encryption - see attachment
Maybe this helps.

I've emailed Shane about this with a link to your thread.

SUCCESS !!! :artist:
The problem was with my Internet provider (Verizon) who "hired" McAfee to protect it's users, but, the remedy was not in my browser but in "MyFios" app which manages my household internet functions. I had to have Verizon tell me how to shut down the Home Protection part and now I'm good.
Thanks for your patience.
