Title: What is ZeroAccess/Sirefef rootkit?

hi win 7 32 bit ... i got this trojan and have been following these instructions to clean it out   http://malwaretips.com/Thread-How-to-completely-remove-ZeroAccess-Sirefef-rootkit-Removal-Guide   which seems to have worked  but my windows update still wont work  error code 80096001 . tried your program and the problem still exists ,any ideas .

That error could mean there is a security problem with the profile.

SO try this, make a new user account on the system, make sure it has admin rights. Then log into that profile and see how Windows updates does there :wink:
