I still have problems with the display driver error message, the display driver stop and then recover. I had windows support help tech but 2 days later, the same issue?

When you get that error it is normally 1 of 3 things.
1. The video card is going bad or some other bad hardware such as memory. You can also get this if your CPU or video is over clocked.
2. Power supply is going bad and isn't giving enough power
3. Bad drivers.
Is your video onboard on the motherboard or do you have a card installed?

ITS ON BOARD.

OK onboard video uses the system memory. Have you ran a memory tester yet?

I noticed that I had similar issue on my hard drive too; re-installed the system on an old hard drive, downloaded the new updated drivers.
No problems now.
But getting back to the other hard drive malfunctioning shows that it is software driven, It can not be hardware as the new instal works ok... Do you have a program that runs from the CD to restore the Windows Operating Display DRIVERS.... "very important"
It will CURE the Black screen virus infecting systems globally
Please,

I would go to http://www.intel.com/ and run there automated driver update checker, I always found, it solves most Display Problems
Just search and rund the automated driver checker on Intel's website... If it says you have NVidea, then go to the Nvidea website and run there Automated checker too
Next, is you laptop on a hard surface, I found that putting it on a suface with any clothe causes overheating and display problems, shutdown etc...
