Hi Shane
Does the free version of Avast have realtime protection with it(auto definition updates). I'm currently using MSE, which is pretty good on system resources. How is Avast on resources compared to MSE?

Yes it does and way better than MSE.
Couple of things I do when I install.
1. Choose custom install
2. Turn off the web shield and the site adviser. (Dont install them, buggy. Had web shield disable all internet pages on 3 machines)
3. Once installed I turn off the auto sandbox, its annoying. After that all is peachy :-)

Im installing now. Which option in custom set up is site advisor. It doesn't actually say site advisor.

I forget the name, it is at the top of the install options :-)
