Thanks for the "Heads Up" Willy2...
I guess that means no more manually updating the IE Cumulative updates before searching for others, just as you find a workaround MS go and "fixit" :wink:
Happy days, at least it shows that someone somewhere still cares about us XP users :cheesy:

I think this is the reason why MS fixed the Windows Update resource hog.

If MS really wanted to help, they could releasea SP4 for XP, it would save time on any future clean install :wink:

A new Service Pack #4 for XP would indeed solve A LOT OF problems, even for MS. But I fear they won't do it.

They are not even going to do a SP2 for 7 so you can bet no way will they do SP4 for XP :wink:
