Title: System File checker
Post by: FlexIron on March 09, 2012, 01:42:33 pm
Hi Shane,
I love the windows repair program and use it often.
My question is have you created or come across a program that will repair windows 7 system files? Every time I perform a SFC as Administrator I always get "Windows Resources Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix them."  All I can do as I've done in the past is to do an upgrade to repair this issue or a clean install.
I know if you had a program to correct this, hundred of PC owners would purchase it, as Bill Gates seemed to have left out the repair fix on purpose.
I'd be first in line to get a program that would stop the many headaches this error gives. See attached photo.
Thanks,
Tony

From what I can tell is the sfc looks in the C:\Windows\winsxs to do the compares. If the winsxs folder gets messed up you get those errors.
