From the little I have seen so far it looks promising. But the final build will be what matters. But I know MS is trying to make up for the windows 8 mistake. So hopefully they will get it this time. They have a track record like this already, so if it holds true then it should be a good OS. But only time will tell :-)

Thanks Shane

I hear it could be a free upgrade to get users of the old OS?

Thanks again

There is rumor they might make it free, they really really want people to move from xp, plus if they get those xp users over to 10 then they have that many more people hopefully using and buying from their Windows store.

But they have not said yet if they are going to, we wont know that till they release it. MS has never given an OS upgrade for free, but things are changing and they can make more money if they did because of their store. So it is hard to tell what they will do.

Thanks Shane

Yes that would be a benefit to everyone, and better marketing.

Would Windows 10 require a lot of RAM etc?

Thanks again

Here they are for the tech preview one they have out. As for what they will be when released I dont know, but since it will also be meant to run on tablets and phones I dont think the requirements will be to much different than they are now.
