Do you have SP1 installed as I would expect the Client Version to read as 7.6.7601 - the 1 on the end denotes Win 7 SP1.

You can check by going Start - right click on Computer (or My Computer) and select Properties and it will list Service Pack 1 under the Copyright if installed.

Have you run the Windows Update Troubleshooter as linked in http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows/windows-update-error-80072ee2#1TC=windows-7

The error 8024000b is a cancelled operation and 80249005 is an Inventory WMI error - running the elevated command sfc /scannow may help with that.

Windows Update Failure 8007066be could relate to the SP1 update failure if you find it isn't installed but can also relate to other updates. http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-windows_update/windows-7-service-pack-1-for-x64-based-systems/29dd85ce-32f8-48e6-ade6-f7bd497e47bd

If you can, try the Save option then manually run it from your computer.
