Simply my firefox session manager got broken when I already have done a repair install of windows so i have lost all of my session restore tabs !
I have also to try uninstall firefox browser and reinstall it and that isn’t fix it

doing this :tongue: It seems to me that a bit complicated :sad: but i will try other fix

Hi,
When you uninstall the firefox, it creates old firefox folder in your desktop. You could click on that and see the profile has any js.bak on the above subject in the link. If you check the properties, and found that it does contain more than 0 bytes, see the date of it, if you think that it contains the old data like your preference, saved passwords, then you could use that profile to restore the session . I will try to give the link in this regard after locating it in the web

i have check the oldFirefoxdate.folder and there are a missing file called "sessionstore.bak" and i don’t know if firefox session manager problem is due missing file ? and the other file called "sessionstore.js" is still there! so how we can go ?

Hi, Probably it is overwritten somehow. Try this

you are probably mean to download the Recuva from piriform website :wink: and not from Ccleaner

I have done a scan with Recuva and it find a lot of file so I’m not sure how to use it/and which file I need to recover ?

no I don’t which should be this one "sessionstore.bak" and Recuva software do not show any of sessionstore.bak file

Try bak extensions. Does that show. Otherwise, try panda recovery from panda site. I think that it shows the name of the file or atleast bak. There will be less bak files. You could choose, in recuva the documents , please see the bak files. I know that it is a hard task in recuva, for you might have erased so much of files and folders in your sessions, and pl note that the files with green icon at the left could only be retrieved. Red shows, overwritten files and there is no choice of recovery.
Do not you have the files in the old firefox data. I will try to give link from firefox any other recover method.

look like this add-one is no longer to be updated! anyway I will give this add-one a try and hope isn’t using all memory as tab mix plus and adblock plus! so they both kill my system and goes to shutting-down right away : )

I used the word with caution in my previous post, as generally add on should be tried and then if it cause, or appear to cause something bad, please immediately disable this add on in the add in programs in firefox.
User views will be mingled as they would have tried and depending upon their machine condition

can’t Restored the the session manager!(Simply) due missing file and session manager got Corrupted somehow ! so I think reinstalled the Firefox browser! as I noted now the session manager is work just fine but with lost of Previous session manager after removed and reinstalled the Firefox browser

this is a great session manager add-one for Firefox! and I have received the first update for 2015! :tongue: and now let the tab mix plus def to go to hell :smiley: as simple is that
session manager add-one is To use less memory :smiley:

nevermind :smiley: got it all fixed by uninstalling and reinstall Firefox browser /and by Replacing tab mix plus!
