Title: Windows Repair (all in one) - Solved
Post by: ksiemb on August 09, 2015, 04:05:20 pm
The system I want to run this on, I cannot get into safe mode probably due to malware.
I have a clean install of Windows XP on another secondary HD. Can I run the repair from this HD and point it to the Windows XP Pro System on Primary HD ?
I am guessing no, but it sure would be nice !

It has to be ran on the os you are fixing because of the registry and the built in windows tools.

What happens when you try to boot into safe mode? Also when you tell my program to reboot into safe mode it does apply the default registry keys for safe mode just in case malware removed them.

Go back to your opening post in this thread, select "modify" and from the message icon dropdown box select "Topic Solved".

Also when you click on the first post and edit it, you can change the subject line and add the words solved. Bugs me this forum software doesnt do that automatically.
