I had some problems with my windows seven 64bit( h. basic). so I had to repair my windows. those problems solved but a new accurs:
when I try to instal one of the before - installed soft. ( mathematica 8. - (kegens not the main program)) the following error appears:
Application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b)
my system:
vaio.
cpu: cor i3/2.4
ram4

Sounds like a hard drive problem.

Run chkdsk on the system to have it repair any file system problems and see how it goes :wink:
