ah okay so i see one of the writers has an error. mainly shadow copy optimization writer.
First i need you to
Code: [Select]
vssadmin list providers next i need you to run
Code: [Select]
vssadmin list writersif you can copy that to a txt file that would be great or get a snapshot. i usually don't like opening pptx files "security risks" lol plus they keep personal info on them of the created user than again all files do....

Hi Julian. Most sincere thanks for your effort to help me. I could save to a text file; managed to do what you ask but could only get a picture which I've included in a pdf file. Hope that's ok and you'll be able to help me resolve this. Again, sincere thanks, stephen

okay i uploaded a batch file called vss run this as administrator and try doing what you tried earlier to see if you get that error because frankly that error is saying that its not registered
this should re register you may get a few that says it can't register no worries just click ok.
