Title: [Solved] NTFS DIRECTORY ID
Post by: makinero on January 10, 2016, 09:52:53 am
Can easily extract a text file (eg. A script or other useful third-party applications)
File Number from the Master File Table (NFTS FILE ID)

Example:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
File ID111654

\Folder\Sub-Folder\Filename

    $STANDARD_INFORMATION (resident)
    $FILE_NAME (resident)
    $DATA (nonresident)

Sub-Folder
=> NTFS DIRECTORY ID
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Unfortunately, nowhere can get information on how to extract NTFS DIRECTORY ID (ID folder that contains the files)  :shocked:
Please help, a suggestion how to extract the ID of all folders from any drive
