Windows 10
I just looked & VIPER has been suspended ???   for the last hour VIPER has been shutting down & I looked at the report on it & it says the firewall was shutdown & the other protection items then Viper would restart after i told it to (clicked start)

Do you have any Apple products installed or installed anything else recently ?

Download Process Explorer - click on Options and ensure Verify Signature is checked then hover over VirusTotal.com and check its box.

https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/processexplorer.aspx

You will see who it belongs to and if VirusTotal considers it safe by giving its rating in blue, but if the numerator is high and in red then it is suspect and it could well be a PuP or PuM.

From the looks of it it is Vipre. I did a google search on that file name and someone had uploaded it to virus totalback in Jan.

At the bottom you can see
" Setup-VPP-en-US-9.3.3.2.exe
InstallVIPRE.exe"
