Has anyone found a way to delete those pesky thumbs.db files in folders and network folders. I have many folders with only the thumbs.db file in it and I can't delete that folder. Grrrrrrr! I am using Windows 10

This article may help if you have >Win 10 Home - http://www.pcworld.com/article/2999243/windows/manage-thumbs-db-files-in-windows-and-on-the-network.html and this one if you don't - http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows/prevent-windows-xp-from-creating-the-thumbsdb-thumbnail-cache-files/
However, that last article may just be for XP as I don't have that option in Win 7, although there are a couple that deal with Thumbnails in Folder Options such as Always show icons never thumbnails.
The free version of CCleaner will remove the Thumbnail Cache so may also remove the .db files that creates the cache, although I think Disk Cleanup will also remove them.

I've tried just about everything else. I will try ccCleaner and let you know. Thanks for the suggestion.
It seems that deleting thumbs.db on C: and D: Drive is OK. It's files on network drives that are a problem.
I'll try ccCleaner today/

Does the last post in this article help with that ?

:cheesy: :cheesy: AS1953 - That's a great suggestion!
http://www.xtreme-lab.net/en/tremover.htm -Worked like a charm.
It's unfortunate but CCleaner does not work on Network Drives
Many thanks to all!
