Title: file question Exent_SDM
Post by: peterr on August 30, 2012, 02:25:44 pm
Hello
I downloaded a virtual box and Ubuntu and  find the attched file Exent_SDM in my startup section.
I do not know if this file is related to the downloads and cannot find information about it.
I ran the Tweaking.com registry restore to before the VM but it still is in the startup entries.
I cannot find any information on it.
When I run the autorun in Revo it says it is invalid.
This is the path.
C:\Users\us\AppData\Local\Temp\SDM143\Free Ride Games.exe "l 'Startup' u 'http://www.freeridegames.com/do/SDM?action=config&contentId=%d' p '143' c '615450'".
Attached is a prntscrn of the temp folder.
What would you advise me to do?
Thank you
Peter

Any exe that is set to run at startup and is in the temp folder is normally a virus. Thankfully it looks like it was already removed

Shane
It kept showing up in Revo so I reinstalled Revo and it is not there.
Guess it is ok
Thank you
Peter
